The SD Logo

RE: The SD Shirt Logo

I don't condone racism.   Nor Nazi-ism.  The lightning bolt "S" I used in The Sinister Devices logo on our shirts is a RUNE symbol, it means power to me.  The logo also has a D- which looks like the PLAY button on audio devices and software programs.  It means "go forward with strength", or, to borrow a quote from Nintendo -  "play with power".

MY lyrics and OUR Music do not condone or praise violence or antisemitism at all, if you would like to cite that we've had such words in our work, please inform us.

There are not many rules that Sinister Devices has, or follow, but we are not Nazis.   We are a group of fun loving goof offs having a good time, there is no form, there is no frame, it's all random stuff.  OH we got it wrong from the last time we played it?  FUCK YOU, our "vocalist", has brain damage, leave him alone.  (oh, wait, that's me).

what are the rules?  should there be?

okay -

1.  - stay off each others women or men. SERIOUSLY.

2.  - no stealing

3.  - no lying

4.  - clean decisions

5.  - more than 50 percent of the unit OR FOUNDERS make the decisions regarding record releases, videos, shows using the label name.

6.  - I run the label, I make the decisions, if something is not good enough, I don't deal with it, PERIOD.  Get it RIGHT or pay the price.

7.  - Respect Uncle Walt, speak no ill words of all and any Disney Properties, if one is upset with a character or franchise under the Disney name, please keep said opinions internal and do not speak publicly regarding said opinion, especially when doing an Obelisk Sound Projects or Sinister Devices event. That includes ME.

8.  - Some Decency in public at times.

9.  - Don't do stuff that makes people mad or makes them not want to be around you.

10. - Respect.

11. - Create and do not stop.

12. - DO IT.  Make art daily.
